Astronomical Observations-Star Gazing “Tears of San Lorenzo”.

The month of August is the most awaited by all those star gazers, who look to the sky to spot a shooting star, which according to tradition is a sign of good wishes & luck.

The Department of Culture from the Council of Antigua organizes an evening in Saturday 12th August for the observation of these meteors under the guidance of experts astronomers.

The meeting point is 9pm at the entrance of the road Access to the Aboriginal Village of La Atalayita, which is approx. at KM 3 of the road that leads to Pozo Negro (FV-420) from the FV-2.
