Attended to the meeting: the President of the Cabildo, Marcial Morales, Cabildo Public Works Council, Edilia Pérez, Antigua Mayor, Juan José Cazorla, the Head of the Canary Coast Demarcation, Rafael López Uribe, a representation of the company awarded with the works, Sacyr, and a representation of AECA’s board of directors: our Vicepresident, Silvestre Franquis and Franco Alderucci (the Presidente of AECA was abroad and could not attend to the meeting).

These were the main issues dealt with in the meeting:

1.- The Cabildo demands the celebration of follow-up meetings every three months and complains about the lack of information about the works even though they are one of the two organisms financing the works.

2.- According to the Canary Coast Demarcation, the southern part of the beach will be opened to the public by the end of January. As for the Northern part of the beach, they have found polluted mud and are now searching for a solution. They inform about a budget heading for a palm grove and that they are working within the budget.
